Ive gotten past the error that says diskdrake cannot read the partition table but it still freezes. I can setup how I want my partititions or I can even have it do it for me (this is a linux only pc, nothing else is on the 3.2gb harddrive). But as soon as it says "..Is about to write the partition stuff to your drive" and I click ok the mouse turns to a clock and locks up, I let it sit for over a hour and it didnt resolve itself, any ideas? Help would be greatful http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif Thanks

You could try updating the bios on the motherboard.

I'm getting this same problem (basically). It gets to the part where it says that it's about to do the partitioning stuff, hit OK or Cancel, and it completely locks up. I can't hit OK, I can't hit Cancel, and I can't even move the scrollbar where the text is. My mouse does move around, but I just can't click on anything. I do have the latest BIOS for my motherboard (Gigabyte KT133 chipset).
