Turbo Linux

Well i got a free CD of Turbo Linux 6.0 Lite Server with my NIC. I already have Slack up and running, and i want to know if it is worth it to install. I never hear anything about this distro...

TurboLinux is based off of RedHat (IIRC). Since you already have Slack installed, you are a step ahead! Don't bother with it.

oh it is based on Red Hat? screw that! I can't stand Red Hat. The only think I ever like about it was Linuxconf. now i don't need it anyway http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

I'm not sure if it based on Redhat or not. But, I tried it on a whim, and haven't looked back since. The install, even though it's text based, was the best experience I've ever had with any Linux distribution.

Don't regret installing it at all.
