Ok, just want to make sure...

slackware-7.1 is different than slackware-current, right? slackware-current is where they update and continually modify/update?

I've always installed via CD-Rom (slack7.1) but I want to try something new this time. Thanks!

As you raised this topic: Rumor says Slack 7.2 is about to come... Anybody knows about release dates.
Just asking cause I was about to download (64 kB/s connection) the isos and then hesitated to wait for the latest release.

Last week Slashdot said that 7.2 was released but later that day they corrected it and said it was just a rumor. If you are really impatient you can just install 7.1 and update to -current via autoslack

I saw a picture of Slack 7.2 (the box at least) in Linux Magazine--they were reviewing all the distos--but have yet to see it at Slack's websight.
