hey,
ive been a linux user for 2 days now (it killed my xp partition.. nevermind)

and now ive gone for fluxbox over KDE or gnome because of resource reasons.

now, in KDE and Gnome i could configure it to turn off those annoying alt+left mouse button shortcuts that move the windows around but in fluxbox i can't.

i really really need to turn these off because alt + mouse buttons is my shortcut for viewport manipulation in Maya (which is impossible to change).

is there a way?

i can change the mod1 + F1 ect shortcuts, but even if i clear all of them it still doesnt change the mod1 + mouse buttons ARGH!

thanks.

to make it totaly clear, this is for FLUXBOX

I am certain that it's planned in the future for Fluxbox to allow for user definition of the mouse shortcuts. So just be patient that sometime in the future it'll be a reality. Or just search through that code and delete the mouse associations... Hmm.. .might not be easy, but hopefully the code is well documented and it'll make sense. I had to alter the code a bit because I wanted my own colors for the cursors.. of course, it only works for the cursor while in the windows manager and outside the other apps.. but it's something.
