I downloaded a theme from the KDE section of themes.org for KDE 2.0. I untared the file and looked at the readme. It told me to run the install.sh file, which I did. It gave me no errors and told me that it was done. Nothing changed, and there is no selection for it under 'LookNFeel' and 'style'. What happened? How do I install these themes?
This is Mandrake 7.2 with 'KDE 2.0 pre'. Thanks alot. :)

Don't know if there is a difference between how the themes work with KDE 2 and 1.2, but with KDE 1.2 you only had to start the Theme Manager and select the theme (file/open I think). Extracting the tarred file was not necessary as the theme manager did that for you.

Unfortunately, it is different. I knew how to apply a theme in KDE 1.x, but the way of apply themes has changed. I don't know why they changed it in KDE 2; appling themes was so easy before. Now I am completely lost :(

Anything in the installed KDE help files or FAQ's? Also have a look at kde.org.
