Recently, I started to play diablo 2 and starcraft on the bnet. However, as I'm playing from comps within my LAN (All running windows), I'm having a lot of problems.

Firstly, I can host games but no one can join the games. I've tried to forward the necessary ports that are specified at the blizzard website but it doesn't seem to work.

Secondly, when my brother and I both join the same game (using different comps in the same LAN), we cannot see each other's chat.

By the way, I'm using iptables for my firewall.

Can someone help me with my problems? What ports to I need to forward and what else do I need to do besides forwarding the ports?

My experience with the info that gaming sites provide regarding port forwarding and NAT's is that its usually a half-truth. If they offer a chat lobby ask around there and you will probably have better luck.
