I'm forwarding this message from someone else just to let you know I'm not the only one that has problems with Samba. Advice much appreciated. Thanks.
"I have verified that samba is installed and running, but when I try to access it through a web browser I am given a message stating that the connection was refused. I downloaded and installed webmin and I get the same error message when trying to access it. Any suggestions?
Update: I have gone in and modified the swat file along with checking the services file and restarted xinetd. When I type in "http://localhost:901/" the session times out. If I use the loopback or the local machines IP add. I get the connection refused message. I cannot figure out what I am missing?"
