When I installed RedHat 8.0, Samba should had been installed. I can search for Samba and it finds it in certain locations but not in the one where the guide to install it says it should be "/usr/local/samba" can someone help me understand how to install Samba and get it working? Thanks, Jeremy

You can edit the smb.conf file located at /etc/samba

The generic file has alot of info that tells what each command lines do. You should be able to get it up and going that way pretty easy. Just open that file and edit to your liking. If samba is installed that file should be there.
