Gnome 2 Suse 8.1

Im just trying out gnome, Is it possible to move the panel from the top to the bottom, ive been trying for the last hour but no joy.

Thats the menu. You can't move it, but you can create panels that can exist on the bottom. Just right-click and there should be an option for it.
