Apache / ProFTPd configuration questions...

Here is what I'd like to do...

I want to set up Apache to run my website with PHP/MySQL support. I just want a basic configuration.

I want a single user access FTP site using ProFTPd to administer/upload the site...

What I need help with is the config files.

lol, explaining all the config files would be a mouthfull

id personaly sugest trying webmin - httpd://www.webmin.com - it lets you easly edit config files in a fairly user friendly formate

as for apache try goin to i think its http://gui.apache.org and gettin one of the interfaces to help with apache config, ... as for php/mysql .... just make sure u compile php with mysql suport and with an apache plugin thingy for php (called libphp4.so) ....

and for ftp id sugest wuFTP the Kwuftpd config prog ...

u werent really too specific with what u wanted .. try goin to the web sites and searchin around be4 you ask for so much ... its a lot easier to set this kinda stuff up that way instead of tryin to get all your info out of a forum

DO NOT USE WU FTP.

Stick with Proftpd in the source tarball there are some example configs if I remember correctly. Look at those.
