I believe Tucows hosts the debian isos. That would be my first guess.

I tried Debian on Monday, and on Friday, after 10,000 posts and 3 mailing lists, I downloaded Red Hat 7.1, which is what I'm posting from now.

I'm waiting for deb 3.0, then i MAY get it, and that's assuming RH 7.2 isn't out. I just like Red Hat too much, it's way too good to me.

Heh, Debian 2.3 (unless Woody has been deemed 3.0) won't even be officially released until at least the end of the year (VERY liberal estimate).

And just wait until you try and update a bunch of software with RPMs and get to "dependency hell", or have to upgrade something like glibc... :)

Damn right. I was trying to upgrade rpm some days ago because I'm not able to install some of the newer packages, but all I got was a messed up rpm-system because of the incompatibilty of the database etc., so I had to downgrade to rpm-3.0.6 again. :(

Time to get debian woody I suppose...
