Ok here it comes:

tar zxvf fluxbox-0.1.13.tar.gz (No errors)
cd fluxbox*
./configure
make
make install

then????
i wud like to have flux as the standard WM...

First of all, check out the blackbox installation NHF. Next, try my idea.
In your ~/.xinitrc file, edit it so that the last line says exec fluxbox. You may need to comment out some other lines that may launch KDE and the sorts.
