I am hoping to switch to debian soon :-)
How stable is woody?
Any guesses at how long it will be till woody is taken out of testing and put in stable?

Im using woody now and its just fine. I haven't had any problems yet apart from a segfaulting ghostscript..

I think they are in the process of freezing woody now, but it could take months and months before its offically 'stable'.

woody is good!!! debain unstable is far more stable than a MS service pack 78

(i know there is no such thing...)

I'm running a mix of Debian stable/unstable/testing and it seems to run fine (except for lots of header problems which is SUPPOSEDLY _my_ fault since I seem to have installed 5 kernels... (Things aren't always what they seem). Just waiting for a cups package :) yes, yes, a printer would be nice.

 Debian

Where can I get iso's for woody? I was looking around a few days ago but couldn't find any.

Try http://www.linuxiso.org.

I don't think there are any isos for woody...

Just install Deb and
apt-get dist-upgrade

when your sources.list is set on testing/unstable

ok thanks, I looked pretty good for iso's so you may be right. There were none on linuxiso.org as that was one of the first places I looked.

The only way I have found to get woody is FTP. No ISOs yet.
