Problems with PPP

Im using stormdialer to connect to my ISP, but right after dialing and send the login information the connection fails.

I run pppconfig and configure my connection.

Is there a way to debug this connection to find if there is some missing files? or i have to reinstall Linux.

I had trouble with the Red Hat dialer. I found the wvdial to be much better, and easier to work with.

There must be help on it somewhere.
