I just downloaded and installed sun's jre1.3 by executing the binary. Everything went well, or so it seemed, but is this all I need to do with the installation. I tried installing Star Office, and when it asked me for a jre, I pointed to my jre directory, but Star Office claimed not to find it in any of the directories. Where is it hiding, or do I need to do more than execute the binary to install it?

I can't remember which file I downloaded but all I had to do was add the location to my path.
