I know it's a small issue, but in this thread (http://linuxnewbie.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=76591) javascrybe (a new member) makes a couple of points concerning X_console's "Compiling Software" NHF, and I tend to agree with him/her:
1. The NHF really is a very helpful resource for Newbies. "How do I install software in Linux" questions are fairly common here, and more senior members will frequently provide a link to the NHF when responding to such questions.
2. The NHF is not specific to kernel compilation, but it is filed under the Compiling Kernels category, which is probably not the first place that a Newbie would look for information on compiling software in general.
Could we take javascrybe's suggestion and move the NHF to the "Software" category?
-Thanks,
DMR
