Yet another hump to overcome in switching to Debian. Well I get about 10 minutes of internet use after boot up then without any erors or warnings I lose it. No gaim, email, internet, etc. I didn't see linuxconf or dhcpcd as root which is what I was used to in mandrake. Any help on troubleshooting this is appreciated.

Specs.
Cable Modem using DHCP on a Cat 5 cable to Linksys 10/100 Ethernet card as eth0.
Debian Woody 3

Haven't figured out the cause, but I can do a ~/dhcp force reboot and it comes back up. I wrote a script to do this, so all is good.

One way to temporarily fix the problem, but I would suggest you check your system logs (/var/log/messages) at the times the connection drops to see if you can spot any errors.
