I couldn't mount the cdrom. When I tried to mount it, I got the error "cdrom is not a valid block". And when I ran the command "dmesg | more" I had "hdb: driver not present".

Please post the contents of the /etc/fstab file, this will help in diagnosing your problem. Also, please post the number and type of drives in your system and what type of controller devices to which they attach (e.g. "I have a 40GB Maxtor and a 60GB IBM on the primary IDE controler with the IBM set as master, and I have a CDROM set as master of the second IDE controller." etc.).

IDE CDROMS are usually /dev/hdc, /dev/hdd
