I would like to set up a box as a print server on our network and have never done this before. I was wondering just how I would go about doing it since I already have a Netgear printserver with two printers (one laserjet and one ink jet) hooked up to the network.
How would I tell the Linux box to send print requests to that printserver and to which port on it (ie if someone is sending to the laserjet or inkjet)?
Also, what about spooling? How will Linux know how to spool the jobs, again according to which printer the user has requested?
