i was loading Corel Linux on to my computer and was wondering how long does it take? and then i choose a standard loading program and i guess it was loading and now it just kick the cd out and restarted it self whats? wrong? help me

Try it again. If it spits the CD back out and restarts again, tell us EXACTLY when this happens. I know others have had the same thing happen to them with Corel. It's not the greatest distro of linux... at least it's based on Debian.
Here's the Corel website. Click on the "Installation" newsgroup and see if others (I know they have) have had this problem and see if there is a solution.
I don't know what the heck it is.

it happens like a few hours from selecting the installation type i select install standard desktop and i click next and then it doesnt move and then it spits the cd back out and restarts. what exactly is a 2MB VGA card? is that like a svga monitor?

2MB VGA Card is a REALLY old graphics board. VGA output (to a monitor), with 2MB of video memory (VRAM) on the board. Most standard boards today come with either 16, 32, or 64MB of VRAM.

ok well i guess that should be taking care of but it still wont get past the "Install standard desktop" part what else could it be my hard drive has 8 gigs and i'm sure there 24 mb of ram. any suggestions?
