To all,

I am thinking of migrating from redhat to mandrake for a variety of reasons. The only real concern is that I am using RedHat's software RAID setup for my / dir.

I have /boot on a 1GB hardisk /dev/hda.

Swap on the first 128MB of /dev/hdb1 and /dev/hdc1 configured as RAID /dev/md0.

/ is on 6.1GB of /dev/hdb2 and /dev/hdc2 configured as /dev/md1.

Has anyone any advice on this migration? Can I just do a Mandrake 7.1 upgrade from a RedHat 6.2 machine?

Mandrake maintains that it is "100% compatible" with Red Hat, so I assume that it wouldn't be a problem :)
