Roster,

It's not installed unless you intentionally go select it. There is an rpm for it on disk two I think it is.

If (when) it is installed it's in /sbin which isn't in the path.

Who would want linuxconf anyway?

Linuxconf is limited to lazy lusers.

Hey--that's an alliterative insult!

And there's another rpm for the gui linuxconf... should be something like gnome-linuxconf if I remember correctly. Hunt around for it, it should easy to find.

Hope this helps :)

You can also get the latest version from the linuxconf homepage at:
http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/linuxconf/

If you haven't checked it out in a while, you should. Lots of improvements.

I tried to install the linuxconf package and it seems it got installed. But could someone tell me after entering the
rpm -i name-of-the-package.rpm what should I do. Where does the package gets install and then what should I do. Thanks a lot
