wine question

hi, when im in the kounsel to run wine this happens -

[louisg@localhost louisg]$ wine
wineserver: /home/louisg/.wine/config is not a valid registry file
wine: for some mysterious reason, the wine server failed to run.
[louisg@localhost louisg]$

what should i do to config it? i have no idea!!!

i am running Mandrake 9.0 on drive 2 and windows 98 se on drive 1

You have to setup it up first before it works I believe.I used winesetup for that but don't where you can download it since I used apt-get.

I made a thousand mistakes the first time I tried to configure wine by hand. Go to code weavers home page:

download there wine the use wine setup.

Also, wine does not run by itself....it needs a file to open. So the command should be "wine file.exe".
