I'm using redhat 7.3 and i'd like to move from the old gcc 2.96 to 3.2. the only redhat rpm's i can find are for redhat 8.0 and i'm wondering if these will work. i found all the packages i need for solving dependancies (i think) and they are also built for redhat 8. does anyone know whether this will work or not?
