installing games

Hello all, i just downloaded the Linux version of Quake II and i dont know how to install it or what the run file type is. Im used to running windows and clicking on the .exe to start, i was wondering if anyone knows what to do or how to install it. Thanks!

You shall learn to love typing soon...seeing the output of a program makes de-bugging very easy :)

It should be "sh fileto.run" and that should kick it off, +x permissions or not it should still run... (+x is execute ;))
