Since gnome toaster keeps recording silent audio tracks, I'm assuming that maybe if I converted to Wav and then recorded the audio tracks, it might work.

So what's good?

I think xmms can do that, little like winamp. Just change the output plugin to writer version and try playing the songs that you want.

Alot of people on this forum have recommended Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) I haven't tried it myself but I do plan to.

if i am not mistaken i think mpg321 or 123 can also make wav from mp3.

code

mpg123 -w file.wav file.mp3

make sure the name of the mp3 file is exactly as it appears if its just Taproot - art just put that but if it has .mp3 at the end then put that its easiest to do ls -a first to make sure
