G/day All
I have mandrake 7.2, netscape stalls after eregular lengths of time could be anywhere 30/130 mins etc (it doesn't disconnect from the net)

my /etc/resolv.conf

any ideas

do you think that your resolv.conf file is to blame? any erros from netscape? you can delete 1/2 of those repeat lines in that file, it might help
/etc/hosts -reads
127.0.01. . localhost.localdomain

these two lines i've never seen in resolv.conf, you might want to take those out, and you /etc/hosts for the 127.0.0.1 thing (this is a guess)

May I suggest trying konqueror since it comes with Mandrake 7.2? It's a very nice browser and fast.

Thanks for replies, no i don't think /etc/resolv.conf is the cause i think its the result,i think the problem must be somewhere in my PPP or KPPP setup
Will give konqueror a try, forgot about it
