I have 2 problems! I managed to installe SuSE 7.0 and get everything running. Now when I try to type in netscape the browser closes automatically!!! I also have a
problem where if I want to see everything on the desktop I've got to use the mouse and search around the edges of the screen (I think this is called a virtual desktop when the desktop is larger than the monitor)
Please help me disable this! Also is there a way to change your screen resolution from within KDE?
Thanks,
Jeff

The netscape problem seems pretty weird. Do you see any error messages when it closes? If you started X from commandline, you can change to the console where you started X with Ctrl+Alt+F<console number> and see if there's any error messages. You can get back to X with Ctrl+Alt+F7. What about your network settings, are they ok?

You can get rid of the virtual desktop and change the screen resolution with SaX (or SaX2). If, for some strange reason, it doesn't work, you can also use XF86Setup or xf86config to configure X.

I fixed it! It was some kind of java plug-in that was loading and causing my problems!!! Once I deleted the file all is OK!
Thanks for your help!
