New Gmplayer issue....

I couldn't get gmplayer to work with my video setup (Radeon 8500LE running VESA drivers in Redhat 8), even though mplayer works fine, so I chenged the vo driver to x11 from xv and now it works fine. Trouble is I cannot resize the video....I resize the window but the video stays same size....any clue?

I'm having this problem also. It only occurs in gmplayer, mplayer works just fine.

Yeah, X11 doesn't support hardware scaling. I believe you can use -zoom as a command-line option to make MPlayer resize it in software, but you should be aware that this can create significant overhead for your processor.
