I'm attempting to configure my xwindows video settings. It was suggested in several places to use SuperProbe, but when I attempted to run this program on my computer I found it missing. Was it removed from later distributions of XFree86? and is there a way that I could get a copy of it?
Thanx,

Have you tried "xf86config"? What distro are you running? SuperProbe should be on your cd.

Well I found out that XFree86 depricated SuperProbe around version 4. Now the command XFree86 -configure is it's replacement. Unfortunatley, now I have to get past the error "server is already active for display 0" in order to run this command. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hmm, you must have overlooked my post where I gave you the command.
