Hi All

I am back to nag all you Linux Users who know their stuff ;) ,

I am looking for the correct Java to download as a rpm. I am using the SuSE 8.1 linux software and would like to have a little help with this as I am new linux user as I have had enough of the rubbish Windows is producing.

Thanks All :D

Mark

I'm completely unfamiliar with Suse (Gentoo rocks, w00t!:D) but I'm pretty sure they have one of those things like Gentoo, Debian and others, that will download, manage dependencies, and compile for you. (Heh, a Suse user would probably know a little more) Anyway, look into your Suse documentation and see if they mention anything. I dimly recall somebody talking about Yast2 once but that could be way off. Anyway, hopefully that will point you in the right direction, or at least serve as a little post bump.

Cheers DarkJedi9 that was interesing, SuSE does use yast2 and really is a usefull tool but does not really mention anything about Java.
