I am looking for opinions, info, etc on debian distros besides Storm and Libranet.
I've tried both, Storm is great but it seems to be unsupported right now. Libranet has a difficult install but great support.
Any others out there that are worthwhile with an easy install?
I'd prefer to stay with debian.
Thanks for the help.

Why not just get the official debian iso from http://www.linuxiso.org ?

Yeah, just grab an iso of the true, the pure, the very real and sensible Debian.

Here are some Debian mirrors:
http://cdimage.debian.org/ftp-mirrors.html

Or there's the beta3 release of Progeny which, while very nice indeed, still is beta and that means things will likely break in some fashion... usually when you least expect it.

I agree with both Radar and ColdPack. Get the official Debian release. It is not that difficult. If I can install it, anyone can.

If you are still not sure and have access to a CDRW, download the Progeny iso. Progeny iso (http://archive.progeny.com/images/) It's installer is much like Storms.

i didn't find plain-old debian's install to be significantly more difficult than storm.. and all storm seemed to provide was a frou-frou boot screen, and possibly some GUI tools (i didn't get as far as playing with X windows).

i still need to get me a libranet cd, just for laughs.
