Hello boys and girs! :cool:

I am very new with linux!I am connecting to internet with ADSL and I have problem with my network card!So my network card is not listed on linux madrake 7.2!Now how I can set up my network card which is D-link DE 220 ISA PnP Lan Adaptor?I have checked i/o for this card in windows and windows give me next information i/o 0240-025f,interrupt request 05 So I have no idea which numbers I have to put for network card!! Anybody can help me ThanX :confused:

I would buy a new network card. :D

Honestly, if it isn't listed in the mandrake files, then you may not have much luck installing it....... Check with the manufacturer to see if they provide linux drivers, or at least an install guide...

Other wise, I would go buy a 3com card.

Also, make sure that Plug And Play is disabled in your bios. I had a problem with my network card not working and that was the cause.
As was previously mentioned, if it's not listed as supported, it's probably not. Check the installation disks to see if there's a linux directory or at least a UNIX directory.

Well, accoring to the Linux Hardware Database, http://lhd.zdnet.com/, your NIC is supported. Look here http://lhd.zdnet.com/db/dispproduct.php3?DISP?369
