Ok, so this jigdo thing has been running in my terminal for the better part of a half hour and all it's doing is trying to log into this FTP site anonymously over and over and over...once in a while it successfuly loggs in, trys to find a file(not the same file each time, mind you), fails, loggs out and trys to log back in.

What the heck is it doing? I'm just trying to score Debian install .iso's

If your all about getting things from the net then just download the boot disc iso and make your apt source the network and install that way. That's what I just did :0)

I want a CD. I want to install Debian on several machines.

I've tried using jigdo from several ftp mirrors now...same results no mater where i go...perhaps i got a bad .jigdo file...i got mine from

http://us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/i386/

would that possibly be a corrupt .jigdo file?
