Hard drive Full !!

I have a HDD that is 2.3G. 1.6 is for Linux. Im running Mandrake 8.0 with KDE and Gnome. A couple of days ago I dowmloaded Ximian which was 100 meg or so. Im pretty sure that normally my drive is 700 megs of the 1.6G full.
Now (since Ximian download) the drive is 99 percent full and things are shakey. Ive checked for core dumps and Ive found 2 that are small. Could anyone suggest what I might do next ??

You can use find (man find) to locate files created since certain days/time or by size etc.

You could also use the find advanced function in the Gnome/KDE file manager to search for the same criteria.
