I've seen this post on here before but cant find the answer for the life of me. Grabed a shot of the actuall problem as describing it could take more space then its worth.

Grabed a shot of the actuall problem as describing it could take more space then its worth. thanks again!! bskahan 11-12-2002, 12:49 AM its most likely an issue of the permissions on your cdrom. edit the file /etc/fstab there should be a line in there about the cdrom /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom auto user,ro 0 0 don't take any options out that are there, but add user to the third column, this should allow users to access the cdrom drive. justlinux.com
