Try searching the forums for 'raid' as you will most likely find a few suggestions and links to documentation.
Also I seem to remember some time ago someone wrote a article on setting up Raid in the 'How I Did It' forum.
scsi or ide raid? Built on motherboard or separate raid controller?

Unless Mandrake has documentation on their site (I would think they would) that explains how to install on IDE raid, try http://www.murty.net/ataraid/

I submitted a NHF the other day for doing software RAID 1 but I haven't seen it posted yet. It's not too difficult. www.tldp.org has all the HOWTO's for both hardware and software, SCSI and IDE RAID.
