I'm trying to create an install and utilities CD for Slackware 8.0 using the following iso files install.iso and extra.iso using Easy CD Creator 3.5c running under Windows NT 4.0 w/ SP6 installed. The CDs were successfully created. The install cd seems to boot and read the CD without any problems. However, the files on the utilities CD were not properly created. It would seem that the filenames were created using 8.3 convention and directory names are limited to 8 characters. I tried setting the cd layout properties to JOLIET which is supposed to handle filenames upto 64 characters long and also ISO9660 with the properties selection filesname upto 30 characters long. I set the options two separate times so that these were the default setting when a CD was being burned. It seems that this problem only exists if an iso image containing long names and extensions when burning a CD.

Thanks for the help..AlienProbe
