Hi gang,

It's been awhile since I posted. I am having mouse problems in FreeBSD 4.7. I was running Slack 8.1 with KDE and everything worked great there. I reformatted my HD and install BSD 4.7 for kicks. Well I ran the xf86config and tried to boot into a window manager(what ever is default) and the mouse would not move. I installed KDE 3.0.3, checked my BIOS and PnP is off and right now, I have both serial ports and the parallel port disabled. I ran the mouse config in /stand/sysinstall and enabled the driver and it moves fine there in the test. started KDE and the mouse is there until I move it and it then disappears and never returns.

I do not know what is going on! I had the same issue with BSD 4.6 and was lazy and didn't want to deal with it so I reinstall Slack.

Oh, it's a LogiTech, generic, 2 button P/S 2 mouse.
I would really want to play with BSD and I'm determined to figure this out. I am just not sure what to check or do from here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
