Help With Keyboard

Hi All

I have a massive problem and it is getting to me now :( ,
I have tried installing Mandrake 8.2 as a dual boot with windows xp and when I come to entering anything my keyboard does not work at all but my mouse does. I have also tried SuSE 8.1 and my keyboard works fine. I have a Packard Bell IMedia 5106 and the keyboard is a USB device.

Any help would be great

Check your bios to see if USB is set to legacy or USB is being assigned a IRQ.

If that fails, you may need to use a ps/2 keyboard to get at least get Mandrake 8.2 installed and then switch to USB.

They may have documentation on their site that might explain how to install 8.2 with a USB keyboard.

Thanks for the reply and "YES" I have fixed it, it was the USB device setting in my Bios.
