I'll keep this short and sweet... I have a LAN. It is composed of my Mandrake/KDE box and three Windows 98SE "things" (roomates...hmmmph!). I just want to be able to see them on the LAN. I have configured Samba ans Swat. Im using KDE2.1.1 which uses a prog called Lisa for LAN browsing. It however, does not do the trick at all. Has anybody seen a prog that would be good for what I want?

have you been able to configure LISa properly in the first place?

Im guessing I havent configured it properly because it doesnt work like it should. I had someone on MandrakeExpert tell me to make this file called lisarc in /etc:

PingAddresses=192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
AllowedAddresses=192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
BroadcastNetwork=192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
SearchUsingNmblookup=1
FirstWait=30
SecondWait=1
UpdatePeriod=300
MaxPingsAtOnce=256

Othere than that and Samba, I didnt configure anything else. Everytime I reboot, though, I have to run lisa from a CL. Any Ideas for me?

A plain command-line is VERY good for those kind of things.
