Blackbox/Enlightenment and RH

I have never..for the life of me been able to install anything in Linux(after the initial install frmo CD's)

I tried installing Blackbox and everything seems to work fine. But when i tried logging in to the RH login screen, i look at the popup screen (to choose between KDE and gnome) and the way i figure it, blackbox should be an option there.

I also tried to go into console mode, and activate blackbox with the Blackbox command. But it gives me a "cannot connect to X" error.

The commands i used to install it were

tar -zxvf ......
./configure
make
make install
make clean

any ideas?

Try "startx blackbox" works for me.. :)
