I like the MSN Messenger Service. Does lots of cool things, but they don't have a linux version. Is there something I can use so that I can chat with friends on the internet, or make PC-to-PC calls if desired?
Thanks.

I know that
Everybuddy (http://www.everybuddy.com/) handles MSN chatting. I don't know about the PC-to-PC calls, though.

I'm not sure about MSN Messenger, but I know that gnome comes with an ICQ clone. It's not MSN (gratefully) but it does the job.
Also normally have several different irc clients per disro too... Slack comes with 2 that I know of and probably more than that.
odigo is a chat program for win9x (not really relivent) but they might have a port. It handles it's own contants, plus MSN, AIM and ICQ contacts.
Take care.

Give jabber a shot as well (www.jabber.org) It keeps all the contacts on the server and interacts with many different services. And the best part its...if you don't like your client, you can use a different one because jabber is a completly open protocol :)
