Anyone have their Geforce card working in 2.4? I tried for about 10 minutes, but couldn't figure it out. The module won't compile with the new kernel, and I couldn't trick it by compiling it with the old kernel sources and using it anyway. I can't get X to run at all, let alone 3d yet. Hopefully we/I can figure this out soon, or NVidia releases an updated driver (optimal solution).

its simple
go to #nvidia on irc.linux.com and you get a patch from a bot there apply it to the nvidia kernel driver (they can help you) then after its patched it will make and install http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

If this is the same patch from www.linuxgames.com (http://www.linuxgames.com) then I hope you have a lot of memory. This thing ate 120MB jsut by starting X. I don't think it gave it back either...
In any case, it will do until nvidia wakes up.
