Intellimouse Explorer in X

I have an intellimouse explorer (USB, optical) In emacs, the mouse works fine, but in X the mouse skips the the top right of the screen and wont move off...

Someone know what i need in XF86Config to fix this?

Not sure myself, but you could find out by either searching the forums here for 'intellimouse' or having a look at the mouse setup/configuration documentation at www.xfree86.org (http://www.xfree86.org)

I have a similar problem. Sometimes, when a program crashes, the mouse skips over to the bottom-left hand corner and seems to enable the left mouse button, so it does all this wierd crap and i have to manually reboot. I'm a newbie so im not sure what to do...

btw: i have it plugged into the ps2 port. It doesnt work in the usb port (it probally does, but im not sure how to do it)
