help with php, mySQL

Okay, my head hurts. I have 0 background with php or mySQL. I have been kicking them around for about a month now. I want to create a web pages that access and edit information in a web site, not the content management that I am seeing. What resources should I be looking at? Anyone in the Erie, PA area that would be interested in helping me with this?

You should find a lot of resources there. Also try searching on the search engine with a keyword php tutorial, mysql tutorial. If you have installed both of PHP and MySQL, the accompany documentation is also a great resources.
