speedin up those god awful long iso downloads

just something i wanted to share
when i downloaded my slackware 7.1 iso
it only took me 45 mins
on a cox@home connection

i used the program called DAP (this is only windows though ick!)
DAP=download accelerator plus

basically it downloaded the iso in 7 parts at the same time and rebuilt it on my system it was great check it out if u have the means

dialup connects i saw no improvment though sorry http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif

Getright (********right.com) also does this. Its a shareware product that I find more useable than download accelerator. You can use it to resume interupted download and split the download into up to 8 parts to finish it faster.
