I am trying to install slackware, finally, having given up Mandrake. I was wondering if anybody had an ISO(s) of the Slackware distro. I tried their site, and couldn't find the iso that they were referring to in the help file.

THANKS for the help

Find a mirror near you (network wise) - but start with ftp.linux.tucows.com or ftp.linuxiso.org or ftp.linux.org or ftp.cdrom.com - ftp.cdrom.com would prolly be your best.

Educational mirrors are great, especially from now 'til the first weekend of January - no students/users on campus (generally) to eat bandwidth.

No doubt! One more week and the kiddies go home for the holidays and leave the sweet comp lab open for me, Mr. Faculty-member, to download those iso's I've been dying for. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/wink.gif
