I was trying to set my linux box to reference my 2k server box as its' time source. It tells me "cannot connect to <host name> connection refused. I am running a firewall, setup by the wizard, in standard mode. I believe port 13 is probably block so I looked at /etc/bastille/batille-firewall.cfg . I then looked at the sys VI editor to insure that was the firewall package the wizard used..it was. I clicked edit and it brought up the.cfg file but, it was much smaller than the one located at /etc/bastille/batille-firewall.cfg . I am confused why it would appear to be using only part of the file in sys VI . Is it because I'm running in standard mode instead of a more protected mode?

Thoughts,

I think you may be right. Try the bastille configurator (run 'bastille-interactive' in shell as root).

Here you can designate a time-server. Then you won't have to worry about which port it will be using.

P.S. Be careful what you do in the wizard, since it can totally block off usability.
