Can anyone tell me how to Print a file from my Linux box to my Windoze 2k print_server?
I am a TOTAL nOOB. This is my first time playing w/ Linux. I LOVE it! It is such a powerful OS! I have redhat 7.1 . It installed very easily. I have a windoze 2k box I have dedicated just as a print/file server. It has a Lexamrk Z11 attatched. I logged in as root and setup SMB w/ the 'doze IP address. If you click on the printer Icon it shows Lexmark Z11, but it never prints. Any suggestions.(besides switching my print server to linux, I will do that later). any help would be great!
